Because there are too many spam users, I have temporarily closed registration and cleared out a large number of registered users, keeping only some of the earliest registrants. Inevitably, there may have been a few innocent casualties. But at present I have not enabled the forum function, and the only use of registered users is to subscribe by email. This function can still be used without registering, by means of Subscriber2. If anyone was mistakenly deleted, you can enter your Email on the right to resubscribe.
Once I get through this busy spell and settle my faculty appointment, I will give the blog a comprehensive redesign, with major changes to everything from the page layout to the category structure. By then I should also reopen user registration (it will probably involve enabling social media login).
